Our Services
At The Dandelion Kind, we believe that every animal deserves compassionate care—no matter where their person sleeps at night, or whether or not they have a person. Our work is rooted in love, dignity, and a commitment to the wellbeing of pets and their people. Here’s how we serve our community:
Veterinary Care for Rescues: How it works
Partnering with Rescue Organizations to Expand Access to Veterinary Care
We are proud to partner with 501(c)(3) animal rescue organizations by providing mobile veterinary clinics focused on essential wellness and minor medical services. Our goal is to support your lifesaving work by offering care such as vaccinations, heartworm and FeLV testing, treatment of uncomplicated skin and ear infections, basic diagnostic capabilities, gastrointestinal assessments, and parasite prevention and treatment.
To make these services accessible, we charge a small one time fee for the visit, the cost of materials and services, with a small fee applied for health certificates.
Beyond providing hands-on care, we are committed to being a resource for rescue teams. We can assist with troubleshooting common shelter challenges such as managing outbreaks of infectious disease, improving medical triage systems, and creating protocols that enhance the health and welfare of animals in your care.
While our mobile clinics are not equipped for surgical procedures (such as spay/neuter or dental care), hospitalization, urgent or emergency care, or advanced diagnostics, we work collaboratively to strengthen your ability to serve more animals safely and effectively.
Together, we can build healthier communities for the animals who need us most.
