Our Services

At The Dandelion Kind, we believe that every animal deserves compassionate care—no matter where their person sleeps at night, or whether or not they have a person. Our work is rooted in love, dignity, and a commitment to the wellbeing of pets and their people. Here’s how we serve our community:

Mobile Clinics: How it Works

Mobile Veterinary Clinics for Pets of the Unhoused

We offer free mobile veterinary clinics focused on wellness and minor medical care. Services include vaccinations, heartworm and FeLV testing, treatment of uncomplicated skin and ear infections, basic diagnostic capabilities, gastrointestinal assessments, and parasite prevention and treatment.

Our clinics are available by invitation from 501(c)(3) organizations actively serving unhoused individuals and their pets.  We do this both by providing clinics at the resource centers, as well as traveling with social workers to encampments on a regular basis.

Please note: We are not equipped to provide surgical procedures (including spay/neuter and dental care), hospitalization, urgent or emergency care, or advanced diagnostic services.
